New England College - John Lyons Center

New England College – John Lyons Center

Henniker, NH

New England College hired Harvey as the construction manager to plan and construct a new 20,000 square foot John Lyons Center academic building for the school. The building is named for professor John Lyons.

The design of The John Lyons Center at New England College is a direct response to the building’s context; the familiar white classical forms, the strong presence on the Town Hall green and the covered porches all contribute to comfortably situating the structure in its charming New England surroundings.

The center is a significant addition to the south campus, providing several high-performance teaching and learning environments, a learning commons, conference spaces, a cafe, and opportunities for an active south facing landscape.
