Cotton Mill Square represents a major milestone in the evolution of downtown Nashua. For years, the Front Street area along the Nashua River has been one of the most challenging redevelopment areas in town. Harvey’s construction management team converted the historic mill into a new building that not only transforms the abandoned site into a vibrant residential community but also serves as a catalyst for continued positive redevelopment in the downtown area.
Renovating the historic Cotton Mill Square transforms the building from an empty mill to a residential development boasting 109 one- and two-bedroom rental apartments in the heart of downtown Nashua. The new residences are located on the Riverwalk and within walking distance of restaurants, businesses and boutiques.
Harvey’s preconstruction team worked with the lead developer to detail every cost associated with the project. It was critical to organize the project budget in a way that was easily understood by the nine different funding organizations. Harvey’s strategies provided developers with a cost reporting system that satisfied all funders and maintained the project funding schedule.
