Southern NH Medical Center has been serving the healthcare needs of the Greater Nashua area for more than a century. In July 2004 ground was broken on a new addition to the medical center featuring expansions of the emergency department and cardiac care center. During construction emergency and outpatient ambulances entrances, patient and staff parking, and the mobile MRI/PET/CT unit locations require well-conceived logistics planning to assure hospital services are not interrupted. Harvey implemented a successful logistics plan to assist the hospital facilities staff coordinate deliveries, and ambulance and emergency walk-in access. Extensive staffing signs and mapping also contributed to successful site management during the construction stages.
Phase I of the project was completed in October 2005 opening the way for SNHMC to increase space that is dedicated to taking care of people in times of urgent medical need in the area as well as provide medical staff with the resources necessary for excellent care.
